“The quality raw input after processing results into productive output.”

Re-adjusting my goals and making them SMART is the real thing I achieved this week. Reflecting back on my previous goals, I observed that my inner voice is calling me to write because this is the thing I always wanted to do and the real question here is “Why?” Finding this why took me a long to decide and eventually, I found out. I connect to the words more than anything in this world. I value words and they always have an impact on me.

Interestingly, this goal is related to personal and professional life as well as Amal fellowship. My vocation is to get tangled in the words and try to solve the mystery of it. Words run this world. You get a gig because of your words, you get selected for the interview because of the words you decided to choose, you couldn’t impress your boss because you didn’t convince him with your words. This world revolves around words of all kinds. It can break you, mold you and make you. Having so much impact I decided to write and take little part by bringing the change in me and around me. Words have power and I want to use that power for the good and better of this world.

My Smart Goal:

(I will read three blogs each day for a month to develop my passive skills. After having full knowledge about the pattern, genre, and effective method to write I will move forward to the active skills and will start to write one blog per week on medium to get experience. In the span of two months I will be able to write a quality blog in 3 days on medium and will get at least 10 claps at the end of this fellowship.)

Input – – – – – – – – –Output

During the first week, I managed to read 3 blogs and noted the pattern of different blogs including their active verbs. I learned how to write an introductory paragraph. I learned to create an effective tagline for the article.

  • Step#01:

In the first step, I read the blog post by Matthew Gault entitled “Former Director of National Intelligence Teases Blockbuster UFO Report”. It was a bit challenging but an informative experience for me.

  • Step#02:

In the second step, I chose to read the psychological genre by Minarella with the appealing tagline “A Psychological Trick to Evoke An Interesting Conversation”.

  • Step#03:

In the third step, I excitedly picked a space blog with the title “Could The Local Group Help Solve The Mystery Of Supermassive Black Holes?”

In the next steps, I’ll definitely move towards writing the blog on Medium and will get at least 10 claps at the end of this fellowship.
